GBC 815 - The Solid Mount

Typical Use: Used for Fiberglass Shower or Tub Enclosure installations.

The Solid Mount™ is a unique product designed for installing grab-bars into pre-existing fiberglass showers/tubs. Installation of The Solid Mount™ takes about 1 hour to complete. No more tearing apart walls to install a grab-bar. The Solid Mount™ is installed through the face of the fiberglass shower and uses a patented mounting assembly that attaches to the stud, sealing the hole and leaving a mounting surface to which a standard grab bar can be easily attached. This installation meets or exceeds A.N.S.I. and A.D.A requirements of 300lbs

Each "kit" contains:
2-Mounting plates with threaded cups
2-Threaded mounting shafts
2-Lag bolts
2-Fender washers
6-Self tapping screws
